65 Indian Armed Forces personnel have departed for the biennial exercise ZAPAD 2025 in Russia. The exercise is scheduled from 10 to 16 September. It aims to promote military cooperation, improve interoperability, and provide a platform to showcase capabilities. India will participate in the exercise, while many nations will be present as observers, including Pakistan and China.
