While speaking at the India-Egypt Strategic Dialogue, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar commended Egypt's role in advancing the Gaza peace plan. He said, "Let me take the opportunity to appreciate the contribution of Egypt and the leadership of President Sisi in realising the Gaza peace plan." He added, "India has consistently supported a two-state solution."
