Celebrating National Wildlife Week, India announced five conservation projects dedicated to dolphins, sloth bears, gharials and tigers. These projects are Project Dolphin (Phase-II), Project Sloth Bear, Project Gharial, the Centre of Excellence for Human-Wildlife Conflict Management (CoE-HWC) at the Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON), and Tigers Outside Tiger Reserves.
