Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Secretary Santosh Kumar Sarangi said India is likely to miss its 2030 target of producing 5 million tons of green hydrogen annually. The country is now expected to reach the goal by 2032, Sarangi stated. The delay has been caused due to uncertainty regarding global hydrogen demand, pushing Indian producers to stretch project timelines.
