England captain Ben Stokes won the toss and elected to bowl first against India at Edgbaston in Birmingham. India have made three changes to their playing XI, with fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah being rested. Nitish Reddy, Washington Sundar and Akash Deep have replaced Sai Sudharsan, Shardul Thakur and Bumrah, respectively.
