India is considering the option of buying two more squadrons of S-400 long-range surface-to-air missile systems from Russia, ANI reported, citing sources. The Indian side would prefer the longer-range S-500 air defence system, but its sale would require clearance from top Russian leadership, the sources added. This comes amid rising security concerns following the recent conflict with Pakistan.
