Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who's in US, responded to a question on Rahul Gandhi's 'Narendra surrender' remark on US President Donald Trump's claim that he mediated the India-Pakistan conflict. "We have never particularly wanted to ask anyone to mediate," said Tharoor, adding, "India didn't need persuasion to stop (the conflict)." He added that India has "enormous respect" for the US.
