On August 12, Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth met Nigeria’s Minister of State for Defence Dr Bello Mohammed Matawalle in New Delhi to boost defence ties. They discussed counter-terrorism, maritime security, and industry cooperation. Both sides invited delegations to explore investment & collaboration, reinforcing the long-standing India-Nigeria defence partnership since the 1960s.
