Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal said India is open to expanding oil purchases from the US, but needs the "right price". India has headroom of $12-13 billion to increase its energy purchase from the US, he stated. US President Donald Trump earlier hiked tariffs on India to 50% for purchasing oil from Russia.
