India has surpassed China to become the third-strongest aerial power in the world, as per rankings published by the World Directory of Modern Military Aircraft. The US continues to have the strongest air force, followed by Russia. Japanese and Israeli air forces have been ranked 5th and 6th. Pakistan ranked 14th in its aerial power.
