India Post has launched DIGIPIN, a 10-character digital address system that pinpoints exact locations within a 4-metre square using geospatial data. Developed with IIT Hyderabad and ISRO, DIGIPIN improves delivery accuracy, emergency services, and is especially useful for remote and unstructured areas. Users can generate their DIGIPIN online, aiding efficient e-commerce and logistics nationwide.
