India climbed to third position globally in terms of funding for tech startups, trailing only the United States and the United Kingdom but ahead of Germany and France, a report said on Thursday. Indian tech startup funding fell 23% YoY to $7.7bn in Jan-Sep 2025. The sector raised $10.1bn in 2024 and $8.3bn in 2023.
