After PM Narendra Modi met Chinese President Xi Jinping in China, MEA said both leaders highlighted the need to strengthen people-to-people ties through direct flights and the resumption of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. "They reaffirmed that the two countries were development partners and not rivals," it added. They said their relations shouldn't be seen through the lens of a third country.
