India has responded after US President Donald Trump imposed 25% tariff and a penalty on India. "The government is studying its implications," India said. "India and US have been engaged in negotiations on concluding a fair, balanced and mutually beneficial bilateral trade agreement...The government will take all steps necessary to secure our national interest," India further said.
