Amid US President Donald Trump's threats to impose an unspecified penalty on India for oil and defence trade with Russia, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has responded. "Sourcing of defence requirements is determined solely by our national security imperatives and...assessments," said MEA. "Similarly, for sourcing of our energy needs, we're guided by what's available in the market," it added.
