Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project may reportedly get a spur line to the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). A proposal has been submitted to Railway Board for consideration, Mid-Day reported, citing sources. If approved, the spur would connect the country’s first bullet train corridor with NMIA, reducing travel time for passengers travelling between Navi Mumbai and Gujarat.
