Indian Railways has launched country's first assured transit time container train service between Delhi and Kolkata. This service is designed to ensure guaranteed delivery within 120 hours and operates bi-weekly, departing every Wednesday and Saturday. The newly introduced train commenced operations on October 1. It will operate from ICD Tughlakabad Terminal (TICD), Delhi, to CTCS Kolkata.
