India's first human spaceflight programme 'Gaganyaan' mission is set to launch its maiden crewed mission in the first quarter of 2027, said Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh. The second Test Vehicle mission (TV-D2) is slated for later in 2025 and two uncrewed orbital flights in 2026. One of the flights will carry the Vyommitra half-humanoid robot to test critical systems.
