The number of active COVID-19 cases in India has risen to 4,026, updated Health Ministry data showed on June 3. At 1,416, Kerala has the highest active COVID-19 cases in the country. Kerala is followed by Maharashtra (494), Gujarat (397), Delhi (393) and West Bengal (372). A total of 37 coronavirus-linked deaths have been reported in India since January 2025.
