Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman revealed that digital payment adaptability in India has reached 87%, far higher than the global average of 60%. Highlighting India's fintech revolution, she credited UPI and the country's robust Digital Public Infrastructure for driving financial inclusion and economic empowerment, especially across tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
