India’s first Handloom Hackathon at IIT Delhi brought together 400+ participants from 250 teams nationwide to develop tech-driven solutions for the handloom sector. Organized by the Ministry of Textiles, it focused on design innovation, digital access, and sustainability. Winning ideas will be implemented with government support, marking a major step toward India’s traditional weaving community.
