India's foreign exchange reserves fell sharply by $9.32 billion to $688.871 billion in the week ending August 1. Despite this decline, the forex kitty remains close to the all-time high of $704.89 billion set in September 2024. Foreign currency assets stood at $581.607 billion, while the gold reserves currently amount to $83.998 billion, with a $1.706 billion decline.
