India's annual crude oil import costs may rise by $9-11 billion (₹78,000-96,000 crore) if it stops importing Russian oil over US President Donald Trump's threat of penalising Indian exports, analysts said. Russian oil imports constitute 35-40% of India's oil imports, up from 0.2% before the Russia-Ukraine war began. This comes as EU also slapped sanctions on India's second largest refinery.
