India’s power demand rose 2.4% year-on-year in July to 154 billion units, up from 150 BUs last year, driven by strong industrial activity, according to a Crisil report. This growth reverses the YoY declines seen in May and June. Meanwhile, July's real-time market (RTM) price fell 23% to ₹3.83/unit, and the RTM-DAM gap narrowed to 401 million units.
