India's savings on Russian oil imports could be erased by the impact of US' 50% tariffs on Indian exports, think tank Global Trade Research Initiative (GTRI) said as per Reuters. India saved an estimated $17 billion by increasing Russian oil imports since 2022. Indian exports could, meanwhile, fall by over 40%, or nearly $37 billion, due to tariffs, GTRI said.
