Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said India’s telecom sector can’t afford a duopoly and that the government supports competition in all sectors in the country. "It’s not good enough having a duopoly [of] one carrier or two carriers," Scindia said. "India today is probably the only country in the world with competition in internet service provider domain," he said.
