Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal on Saturday said India seeks to convert a critical mineral agreement signed with the US into a partnership. This could "become a starting point to become an FTA (Free Trade Agreement)", he added. Earlier this month, both nations signed an MoU to strengthen supply chains for lithium, cobalt and other critical minerals.
