India has served a formal notice to Pakistan, demanding a modification of the Indus Waters Treaty. As per reports, India, in its notice, said in today's scenario, it is not feasible to maintain the same treaty and, thus, it needs modification. The notice from the Indian side was reportedly served on August 30, 2024.
