Nobel winner Abhijit Banerjee said India should consider whether Russian crude oil imports are "worth it" despite US President Donald Trump's 50% tariffs on Indian exports. "It's not crazy to think about...At 25% tariff, some of our exports are already not competitive, so maybe 50% tariff doesn't matter," Banerjee said, adding it's "good moment" to lift curbs on Chinese investments.
