SEBI's Whole-Time Member Ashwani Bhatia said India has the largest futures and options (F&O) trading volumes globally but "this is a crown we should not wear". "F&O cannot be and should not be a national pastime," he stated. He added that investors should focus on "serious investing" and participate in the country's wealth creation.
