India may permit imports of certain processed, genetically modified (GM) farm products from US, as it seeks to strike a trade deal, a report stated. Authorities may approve items like distillers' dry grains with solubles, a corn, ethanol by-product, and soybean meal, both used in animal feed. India looks to secure the deal before the July 9 reciprocal tariffs deadline.
