Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India is rapidly moving towards becoming "a global sporting powerhouse". Praising Khelo India's role in the rise of young athletes during his 'Mann ki Baat' episode on Sunday, PM Modi also named a few athletes who have given "new hopes to the country". He further applauded the recently concluded 38th National Games in Uttarakhand.
