The Centre on Monday announced that India and Bhutan have agreed to establish two railway lines connecting the countries. The project includes 69-km line from Kokrajhar (India) to Gelephu (Bhutan) and 20-km line Banarhat (India) to Samtse (Bhutan). The total cost to build the two lines will be ₹4,033 crore.
