The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) will soon be deporting around 16,000 foreign nationals detained across India for their alleged involvement in drug trafficking, according to reports. Countries whose nationals would be deported reportedly include Bangladesh, Philippines, Myanmar, Malaysia, Ghana and Nigeria. The deportation will be carried out under provisions of the new immigration law.
