Former ISRO Chairman S Somanath delivered a lecture at Panjab University Law Auditorium, as part of PU Colloquium Series. He said India's shift from government-funded model to stakeholder-based space ecosystem has triggered wave of innovation, giving impetus to private satellite manufacturers. He said that India plans permanent space presence, moon and Mars missions.
