Nearly half of new Global Capability Centres (GCCs) worldwide are being set up in India, said KPMG's Vikas Gaba. Once seen as back-end cost units, GCCs are now hubs of innovation and transformation. With India's location, talent pool, and cost edge, the number of GCCs is projected to rise from 1,700 in 2024 to 2,400 by 2030.
