India will operationalise two new consulates in Kazan and Yekaterinburg, Russia, during the 2025-26 financial year, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has said. India currently has consulates in St Petersburg and Vladivostok, along with its embassy in Moscow. Ministry also informed the parliamentary panel that five new missions have been approved in Europe and the Latin America-Caribbean region.
