India’s Ambassador to the US, Vinay Kwatra, announced the opening of eight new Indian Consular Application Centres in the US starting August 1, 2025. "With the opening of these new centres...delivery of consular services [will be] faster and more accessible to our Indian diaspora," he said. Centres would be in Boston, Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Addison, Orlando, Raleigh, and San Jose.
