The Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) has launched the India AI Governance Guidelines under the IndiaAI Mission to ensure safe, inclusive, and responsible AI use. Based on seven guiding 'Sutras', the framework focuses on fairness, accountability, and innovation while promoting ethical, people-first technology and establishing India as a global leader in AI governance.
