The Directorate General of Shipping hosted the “IT Conclave 2025” to boost maritime digitalisation. Union Ministers Sarbananda Sonowal and Shantanu Thakur launched the revamped DG Shipping website, Phase-1 of the e-Samudra platform, and an AI-based exam system. These initiatives aim to enhance transparency and global competitiveness, aligning with Digital India and Maritime India Vision 2030.
