The government confirmed India will not be stopped from playing in Asia Cup 2025 despite Pakistan's participation. It stated that decisions regarding international or multilateral sporting events are guided by global sporting bodies and interests of Indian athletes. Accordingly, Indian teams and players will take part in international events that also have teams/players from Pakistan, it added.
