An Indian Armed Forces contingent of 65 personnel has departed for Russia to participate in Exercise ZAPAD 2025 from September 10 to 16 at Mulino Training Ground. Led by the KUMAON Regiment, the exercise will enhance interoperability, joint planning, and counter-terrorism operations, while fostering India-Russia defence cooperation, camaraderie, and trust through multinational tactical drills.
