The Indian Army has inaugurated a tent-based homestay in Uttarakhand's Garbyang under Operation Sadbhavna. Part of the Vibrant Villages Programme, the initiative promotes rural tourism and community empowerment. Managed by villagers, it offers travellers an authentic local experience amid scenic landscapes, while supporting livelihoods and sustainable development in this remote border region.
