The Indian Army has signed two major defence contracts, one with UK-based Thales for Light Weight Modular Missiles (LMM) and another worth ₹659.47 crore for Night Sights for 7.62x51mm rifles with MKU Ltd and Medbit Technologies. The LMM system enhances anti-drone and air defence capabilities, while the Night Sight boosts night combat effectiveness.
