A 32-year-old Indian-origin man working in US posted on Reddit that his 55-year-old American co-worker asked him to stop speaking in meetings because he couldn't understand his accent. He said he was asking for project update, which is "part of [his] regular responsibilities". "I felt dismissed and insulted...Is this normal?...No one else has said anything like this before," he added.
