Businessman Javed Akhtar and his wife, Nadira Gulshan, were killed in a car crash in Italy on Thursday during a family holiday. The 55-year-old was a well-known hotelier from Nagpur and was travelling with his three children, who are hospitalised right now. The Indian Embassy has confirmed the deaths and said they are in touch with their family back home.
