Multiple Indian firms, along with their partners, have submitted bids to partner with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the ₹15,000 crore Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) prototype development project, aimed at developing the indigenous fifth-generation fighter. The panel led by Sivathanu Pillai, will evaluate technical and commercial proposals.
