A 35-year-old man in India who had been experiencing blurry vision and a bloodshot eye for months learnt that a live worm was inside his eyeball after visiting an ophthalmologist. The parasitic roundworm was identified as Gnathostoma spinigerum. The worm likely entered the man's body through consuming raw or undercooked meat and then might have travelled to his eye.
