An Indian man was sentenced to over 14 years in jail in Singapore on Thursday for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl twice. He was found guilty of one count of rape and two counts of outrage of modesty after a trial in which he represented himself. The man will not be caned, as he is over 50 years of age.
