The Indian men's football team on Friday slipped to 136th in the latest FIFA rankings, their lowest in nine years. India fell two places from their previous position of 134. This comes days after they suffered a 1-2 defeat against lower-ranked Singapore in the Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers. Notably, India haven't won a competitive qualifying fixture since November 2023.
